Only a week after a deadly accident took the lifetime of a Penticton motorcyclist, one other accident occurred on the harmful intersection of Channel Parkway and Inexperienced Mountain Highway.
At round 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, three autos had been concerned within the accident and all wanted a tow. This time it did not seem like there have been any main accidents.
In accordance with the ICBC, Penticton’s Channel Parkway (Freeway 97) connecting Fairview Highway and Inexperienced Mountain Highway is town’s most accident-prone intersection.
A complete of 125 accidents occurred on the intersection from 2017 to 2021.
In final Thursday’s deadly accident, a 64-year-old man from Penticton on a Yamaha motorbike collided with a 40-year-old man in a Volkswagen automobile, Sgt. Jason Byda from RCMP.
The 40-year-old Volkswagen driver, additionally from Penticton, was not injured.
